What is flosm?

On flosm can be found maps based upon data of the OpenStreetMap project.

OSM is a community, which sets itself the goal to create a free world map. Everyone can help to develop these maps.

Visualizing information

The OpenStreetMap data contains a lot of information by now. We want to visualize this information in a simple and interactive way.

Therefore we are developing different theme maps step-by-step to show the potential of the project. Because new data are added every minute we update our maps once in a week.

 

Export to Adobe Illustrator™ and Inkscape

Nearly all maps can be exported via the download button to be reworked and instantly used with Adobe Illustrator™ or Inkscape including layers for easy post production.

 

Server technology

For displaying and interaction features in the maps we use a self engineered server system which processes vector maps at very high speeds. We distribute this technology through our company 123map.
